Call to order
Old Business:
Laptop recommendations – will continue with developing policies
Need Volunteers for CMS (Desire2Learn)
A. How to get faculty to volunteer
B. Need several levels from beginners to expert level.
C. What’s involved?
D. How much time?
E. Use like WebCT – perhaps look at as committee
F. Would be better to do this in the summer
G. Can be used as additional support for class – testing functions
Discussion followed – open source – Sakai, Angel (blackboard has costs involved) Laura will arrange for demos on these programs – folks can choose what they want to try out (Will schedule some demo’s when TAG members can be present for at least one demo)

New Business:
Email list policies
A. Too many messages going out – need to streamline
B. Grouping of clubs together in one email or put on calendar
C. John will talk to Tom Perry about possibilities of him listing info on calendars and sending out one message with all info for student activities
D. Discussed reasons for not having opinion/signature line
E. List passed out of messages sent out for the month of Feb up to the 12th.
F. Problem of overkill since there are so many messages – are they actually being read.
Discussion followed as to other possibilities
Cdigix
A. Music for free for now
B. We were one of the first Colleges to begin to use Cdigix
C. Has been less supported in recent times
D. Discussed other ways to provide music
E. Looking into Ruckus connected to Oarnet – Ruckus will add a movie feature
