Meeting Minutes

Present: Laura Little, Debbie Stodberg (recorder), Gloria Stewart, Frank Diller, Scott Lewandowski, Bob Chase, Eric Fitch, Sharon Douglass, Ken Nelson(filling in for John Davis), Hunter Jonsson(student rep)

Old Business
Correction to previous minutes – Mozilla is not Modzilla
Turning point – Scott will talk to Laura about this latter – Dennis Kuhl is also interested in trying it out – Are there similar programs? What are the other colleges using – Eric Fitch will check this out
Grant activities – working on some grants for the Education Dept – discussion followed about working with Beth McNally set up a brain storming meeting seeking grants for technology – Concern for growth optimizing grants – seeking out grant sources to fund technology for Science and Engineering – Entire Campus vs Science Depts discussion – TAG facilitate such a meeting or should this be by departments/divisions – Eric Fitch will talk to Bob Walker about this.
Use of Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird instead of Netscape suite – several positive testimonials – will wait till next meeting for more review and will decide more at next meeting.
CDigix expanding – PA students using – classroom use – videos, Laura working out issues with users & CDigix
New Business
Title III 5th year - there will be TIG opportunities
