Old Business

Cdigix - Adjusting Ctrax etc – Cflix, Clab component allows profs to have video’s digitized and available for class – videotape as well, Cdigix will handle copyright permissions. There has been some usage of Ctrax and Cflix, and numbers are increasing – Clabs is part of campus agreement and is free to students and faculty

February 16 – Clab, Cdigix workshop – times/locations TBA. Eric recommended that Laura contact faculty to determine interest and decided location of workshop based on attendance.

Discussion about software and various computer programs that are available on campus and possibility of workshops on how to use the programs/software – Laura and John will work on marketing this info the campus.

SPSS – campus wide license available – Bartlett first eventually part of image for labs – Question….will all labs be able to run SPSS in addition to currently-loaded software??

New Business

There will be 7 on-line courses in the summer

Laura will provide training to faculty about how to teach on-line courses as well as offer support to those teaching these courses. This training is open to all faculty, not just those intending to teach online this summer.

WebCt used more than before – from Oct 1, 2003 – September 1, 2004 – more than1000 students have used WebCt

Title III yearly reports finished, copies are available in her office and a copy will be sent to the library for reference.

Discussion about IT plan for future – inventory specs of current multimedia labs and cost of replacement/upkeep for labs
